Upgrading RAM on an MSX1 unite

I have a YAMAHA AX-170 with 64KB of RAM, is there a way I can upgrade my RAM so I can get to play all MSX1 and most MSX2 games. The issue I have is that my MSX unite is from the Middle East so they added Arabic Basic Language to its original English so that took some of the memory so I cant even play Nemesis 3 nor Kings Valley 2 (MSX1 version). Thanks allot

just plug a memory mapper in a slot but the best solution is the original cartridge
if you have a 720k floppy you can loading a game into a MegaFlasRom

The AX170 is an MSX1 unit indeed, so you will never be able to play MSX2 games on it.

Nemesis 3 indeed doesn't seem to run on this machine, but King's Valley 2 (MSX1 version) does. I don't think this is due to the Arabic ROM, but due to a bug in Nemesis 3... (this game has problems also on other machines, like the Spectravideo SVI-738; according to BiFi it does a bad ROM call to palette routines, without checking whether it's running on an MSX2.)

Thanks Jipe but I dont have a FDD and Manuel, I believe you are right sir . I'm going to ask my friend that goes back and forth to the Gulf reigon to see if he can find either a Sanyo AX370 or Yamaha (AX350, 350 II or AX500). By the way Nemesis 3 worked on my Sanyo PHC-33 MSX1 when I had that unite in 1991

If it worked on that machine, you're lucky (Actually, it works on most MSX1 machines, but that's purely by luck.)

to be honest Manuel, I dont even know the difference between MSX2 and MSX2+ and the Turbo MSX. the highest MSX I've seen in stores back in the day was the AX500 by Yamaha. After that the market was viering towards the all mighty Amiga500

you dudes seem to know allot, I'm very grateful to you for sharing your knowlledge with me. You guys might know the answer to this: I live in the US and u know that they never brought the MSX to the states and if they did then it didnt do good or it was not popular. My question is that I wanted to know if I purchese the Konami Antique MSX collection for the PS1 in NTSC-japan format then would it work on NTSC- north america PS3?! if not then do you know how can I aquire such a collection on my PSP or PS3. I also tryed the PS store on my consle but because my reigon is Noth america therfore they dont have it for sale on there online store (unlike the Japanies PS online store). Thanks agin dudes.

I did Manuel, That shows you how desperate I am in getting hold of those collections and actually get to play them.
