Plus I hate tempo changes with a passion, if I can I prevent using them even in midi.
Hehheh, you don't like ritardando and friends? ;)
Maybe HOOT has a function like that? Although I have never found it...I often use Hoot to record originals.
AuroraMSX: yes, what you saw is correct, I made a script which plays the notes on a virtual piano on the screen. But no one made something that converts this into a MIDI file It is probably not very hard but it is also not very easy.
Jorito, thanks for the recommendation to try renoise, but I think I will stick to my existing setup. Renoise doesn't add anything I need (that I don't already have), it seems. Plus I lose my WAV rendering abilities, which is something I want to keep.
AuroraMSX, I'd love some Schwarzwalder-Kirschtorte-mit-Sahne.
Hopefully soon I'll be able to release some MSX music; if there are any Nine Inch Nails fans other than Vampier, my next album will feature one AY+SCC and one OPLL track (and an SMS track which is fairly close to AY/PSG)...

I did, hap+meisei FTW =p
I meant in openMSX code... But, good job hap!

if you say this because of what I posted, the wave render function is disabled in the free version but present in the paid one

My existing music solution is free and satisfactory. I don't want to move to "paid and does everything I can already do". =]

What is this HOOT?
Prior to starting this thread, I didn't know either..
