1: Can you disable Drive Emulation, like you would on BlueMSX.
2: Anyway to remove the Overlays (LED and Such). I read how this works but it was way too complicated for me to do anything with on my own.
3: Would Turbo-R be the fastest Machine?

BTW I'm new to MSX (in general) and the forums, hi!

You are using an EC-702 Kanji ROM on a machine (tuboR) which already has a Kanji ROM device on that I/O port. This may confuse the MSX software. On a real MSX this may give undefined behaviour. Any special reason you want to use the EC-702 Kanji ROM?

What exactly are you doing when swapping discs? Which software are you running?

1. Emulate an MSX without drives, or start up with SHIFT pressed (like on real MSX) or basically: why do you want this?
2. What is the problem?
3. That depends. What do you want to do?

Sorry, I already fixed it and changed the whole topic! Tongue I don't want to use that rom, it just kept telling me it was looking for it......turns out it was selected as an extension for some reason.

1:Oh, I want to disable Drive Emulation so I don't have to wait for Disks to load...right now I use Fastforward though...it's fine, just a nitpicking thing.

Wait I just realized why you're asking...by Disable Drive Emulation, I mean disabling emulating the speed of the Drive....so that it just loads disks faster. BlueMSX has this. (but OpenMSX is much better).

2:For LED'S, I just wanted to remove the FDD overlay..

1. Ah, I thought you meant you didn't want to emulate disk drives at all. In this case, just use this setting: http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/commands.html#fullspee...
2. As the FAQ says: http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/faq.html#leds Any problems with this?

Wow, thanks. I swear to god I searched all through the Manual, I have no idea how I missed these things....wrong keywords I guess. Thanks!

*Edit: I see, I looked through the User Manual and not the FAQ. Sorry! Amazing emulator btw!
