Function/Command to erase sprites

Hello. Just searched for this, but can't find. Is there a way to erase all visible sprites without change the Screen mode? I know &H0069 is used to clear the sprite area, but I would like only to turn invisible all the active sprites.

Put the first sprite Y coordinate to position 208.

yeah, which is basically the 1st byte in the sprite attribute table

for msx2 : change bit 1 ( SPD ) register 8 of vdp
0 = sprites masked , 1 = sprites ok
