These plans to make more units of the Zemmix Neo are great news!!. With a bit of luck all users outside Korea will be able to buy one of these. What about to make two versions of the Neo? One a little bit expensive with that cool CNC finish and other more afordable with aluminium case?

@Capitan_Goto
I cannot make CNCed version again because 'we (forum members)' already promised
CNCed version will be just 100 pcs in the world. The cheaper version might not be
satisfied like CNCed version but we are trying to make it with good enough shape.

But... I ask myself... Is it so difficult for a big electronic consumer company to make a 30th anniversary MSX?
I'm thinking about Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, etc. or Samsung, Daewoo, etc.
Design is ready, FPGA is ready, MSX fans are ready to purchase.
Ok, companies would not make billions $ (but why not...), in any case it could be a funny thing:
"ladies and gentlemen, after 30 years we finally present the MSX3 in a one chip technology". Nishi

@mygodess Thanks for the explanations of the manufacturing process, it makes things a lot clearer.If you guys decide to produce something (even if it's not the exact same as the Zemmix Neo, let us know. I'm sure many people would consider buying one since it's almost impossible to buy an OCM these days.

@Enribar. Sadly most of those companies would not even consider allocating resources to a product that would sell less than a few thousand units these days... Maybe as a publicity stunt to surf the "retro cool" marketing wave, but I doubt most care enough. You'd have more luck raising funds with a crowdfunding model like kickstarter.com. They could get the Ouya console produced that way (sort of)

Yep you helped those companies 'too much' Smile
I think they should pay you 'BIG' or 'HUGE' money for that Smile

It's introduced in Japan. But they worry about license also.
