After finishing my last project on this machine, I'm selling it to fund my new project.

This FSA1FX is upgraded with:
512 Kb inside
MSX-Music (YM2413) with FM-Music Rom (this is a custom made rom replacing MSX Cockpit)
New Samsung Diskdrive that does not need a belt

The machine comes as is, showed on the pictures.

No Box/manuals/disks

Hi luppie, I have a few questions.

- Is the computer 100V (original Japanese) or 220/230V (Europese)?
- Does the computer have an S-Video out like the WSX? (I can't find the specs.)
- Why sending the bids to your email in stead of a public auction in this forum?

I might be interested to replace my Sony MSX2+ which has some video issues over RGB.

To answer your questions:

The computer is original 100V (but can be easely adjusted to 230V)
The FSA1FX has only RGB & Composite out (no S-Video)
People are free to Bid on this Forum, I just dont wanted to spam this topic with only prices.

I'm not sure what you mean. The machine supports 6Mhz.
The addition of the YM2413 is done with the on-board circuitry so it has the same possibilities and limitations as the W(S)X.

On the other side, the YM2413 FM Chip only supports 3.57Mhz, but this is the same as in all other MSX's with the YM2413 build in. Also external FM-Pac's have this limitation.

I start the bidding at € 75, which I think is quite reasonable.

To give you an indication. I bought this machine 3 years ago with a broken drive, 64kb ram and no MSX-Music for € 100,- from Moniz. Now it has a new (beltless) drive, 512kb ram, MSX-Music, a new ROM and a lot of effort. B-)
I consider the effort my loss, but a win to the community, but at least I'm looking for a price that includes the machine and the components.

To the first message you said "Please send your Bid's to..."
You don't give a starting price. The auctions sometimes goes for just 1 euros if have not starting price.
I think you looking for some serious money for this MSX.
So, the secret bidding via PMs without a starting price, will not help you to find what you asking.
I believe is better to put a price as high as you believe is fair and if you can't find this money, then you can accepted near offers. If you don't, a flame topic is a possibility. Good luck to your sale.

Probably the word bid was 'lost in translation', I mean offer. It was not my intention to do secret bidding and I tought people would give a serious prize. I'm not looking for serious money, but for a serious offer. In my perspective a serious offer is a offer that covers the price of the machine + extra components.

Yes, we lost in translation. Now is more clear. Offers is the right word.

I am not interested, I just only try to help. So if you don't want to give a price, maybe we can imagine what you expect.
As you said the unexpanded computer cost you 100 euros before 3 years. Today price maybe 25-50 euros more.
From you other post, the 512KB expansion cost 50 euros and the PC disk drive 25 euros.
If we stop here we have already 200 euros and we didn't add the cost for MSX music and all the effort and time you have spent. I can't calculate the cost for MSX music and ofcourse for your effort and time, so I will stop here.
So, I believe a fair price will be between 250-300 euros but this price is also a fair price for a Turbo-R ST.
I haven't say nothing more. Good luck to your sale.
