@moderators: i post this here because it is related to trading and collecting, though i don't sell or buy anything. i hope this is not inappropriate to post such messages here, my apologizes if so. move to appropriate place if i was wrong, please

I've seen that the Nowind V2 batch is out at february. I (pre-)paid for it December 24, 2013 and provided shipping address at Germany. Since that i've been in waiting, but 3 weeks ago i emailed Rob Hiep from Sunrise about my Nowind. And i received no answer, i've sent another email 2 weeks ago - no answer again. Does anyone have any info about the Rob, is he ok? This is weird and makes me suspicious for projects earning funds as prepaids, and also makes me suspicious for sellers from Holland. Any info/suggestions? I also emailed Jan Wilmans (main developer of Nowind V2) and asked him if he knows something, he responded that he will try to contact Rob. And again no more info. I hope the guy is ok, and he will either send me that Nowind hardware or refund the payment...

Rob is not as fast as hoped, had the same some time ago. Some emails were never answered.
Personally i think he is very very busy, maybe too busy for these extra sideprojects.

I was asking him if it was still possible to do a hardwareupgrade for my old ATA-IDE Interface 1.0 Henrik Gilvad 1995, he said i was talkin nonsense, but this proves otherwise. The interface is still not working properly, so looking for a CF interface (busy with it in another topic.)
Rob is pro-msx and he does give us the opportunity to get new msx stuff, but he can be too much himself ;)

But i hope he wants to clarify some things for you, it is no way to treat customers at all. Maybe the mailcompagny screwed up, then he can check if he really sent it f.i.

You can mail the guy on nowind.nl he promised some other buyer he would contact rob about status. But maybe the production process ships ten a week im not worried as i got an official invoice including vat. I hope rob will soon make some time to at least bcc mail all waiting customers.

So i'm not alone and there's many people who still didn't received the stuff? Hm, ok, i expected that the announce on news from nowind.nl means that all boards are ready to ship. Huh, ok, let's see.

I think they’re just shipping them as they are made (is Koen making them I wonder?). Others are receiving them one by one, so I guess you just have to be patient and will get them eventually.

I received email by Rob yesterday, he said i could order 1, so they have enough components.
I think Grauw is correct on this, they are making them by hand.

But maybe it is better if they actually tell this, so people get an idea about how much work goes into the process and what their arrivaltime could be, you wouldnt want them to rush such a process ofcourse

Ok, i still will pay in advance for the HDMI cartridge, i'll be just a little suspicious, not too much Smile

Apologizes to people from Holland. I was in bad mood when wrote that. I think i know what you mean, nothing is wrong with other hollanders, sorry for insults.

P.S. Once i had another issue with hardware received from Holland, but i've just stand it and didn't whine (though at least i've got something for my money). But well, being late is ok (anything might happen, etc) but don't respond to questions about the deal is a bad deal (sorry for the tautology).
