I have this USB Keyboard

ANd, to use it with my OCM, i use an adapter PS/2-USB

Nemesis Test:

UP+RIGHT+FIRE: OK
UP+LEFT+FIRE: NO
DOWN+RIGHT+FIRE: NO
DOWN+LEFT+FIRE: NO

Only with OCM-PLD firmware, you can use the WINDOWS key instead of SPACE key for the fire.

YES! it works!!

Many Mitsubishi keyboards (ML-FX1, ML-FX2, ML-G1, ML-G3, ML-G10 and ML-G30) have a cursor keys alignment just like the Apple keyboard

I have used the apple keyboard and the cursor key arrangement is not comfortable to use.

I wanted to do a photo of Sanyo's cursor layout as I noticed:

My Sanyo Wavy70FD did not pass the Nemesis (2) test!

FIRE+UP+LEFT or
FIRE+DOWN+LEFT doesn´t seem to work. The viper don´t move diagonal backwards, only up or down.
It does't matter if Rensha is on/off. Other combinations are ok, but I didn't checked joysticks to work.
The Sanyo Wavy35 passes the test without problems. Weird. Did somebody noticed that before?
I´m going to check other games this weekend (Nemesis 2 is the cartridge that is ALWAYS in my pocked, just for the case...)
The Sanyo is a strange beast!
BTW: First Macintosh keyboards had no cursor keys at all, they wanted to force the user to use the mouse.
And: What a nice Mitsubishi!

That's weird, because the keyboard is handled by the engine and the T9769 is quite commonly used. Other msx's should also have this issue. Perhaps it's the specific revision of the engine used in your 70fd ?

A weird Sanyo indeed.

The "Sanyo layout" is what's used on the NMS8250 (made by them too), in terms of handling I think it's not very different from pc keyboards.

Strangely enough, but my Sanyo Wavy PHC-70FD did SUCCESFULLY pass the Nemesis (2) test - i tried this and that and also Rensha on|off - works flawlessly here. Don't know what's the difference between those two machines by the way...
