hai retrofan, your real name wouldn't be Jan, would it
* sneaked up Retrofan's account e-mail: the answer is 'no'
* sneaked up Retrofan's account e-mail: the answer is 'no' That's right...
But you do know me, I also live in Leeuwarden
Ah, you were talking about Jan Valburg, right?
Hi Latok, thanks for those 2 songs you uploaded. Do you have more? I remember you covered a tune from The Treasure Of Usas, Juba Ruins, right?
Don't know if these are good enough, but on my site I've uploaded two songs (in mp3 format) made with moonblaster for moonsound FM. I found these somewhere on a disk, and these were never published.
BTW: no extra drumkits needed. It's all standard Moonsound...
Thx John! MBFM tunes are quite rare, so it's nice listening to these. We should have used MBFM more. FM is nice
Yes I was talking 'bout Jan van Valburg, tho I now realize his screenname used to be RPGlover. I was confused. I knew him years ago (on a personal basis). Ah and Retrofan is indeed, like Jan was, a fellow citizan of Lwd Hai Simon
Haven't done anything for years really. I've a Nowind, so sooner or later I'll continue my attempts to create a nowind tracker so I can run the whole show on PC - mbwave is a bit of a showstopper for me as it won't allow you to get even 20% out of a Moonsound. Until that moment I've a passionmsx2 game entry to finish with edwin (psg), and a study to dive into. And I was supposed to keep MRC up as well, but I got some extra hands recently, so you may see news coming in from others than just me!
<cheer mode on!> Wolf, maybe you or others can play with MML on OPL4 with MoonDriver, which is located here: http://clogging.web.fc2.com/mdrv/
There're also 2 examples in MP3 so you can hear what MML can do with your MoonSound! (FM+PCM and own samples!) This should be more than getting 20% out of the OPL4 I guess! It works both on MSX-DOS1 and 2.
Those demo songs are far from bad... Would be fun to get that out of a tracker cuz hell MML sucks megaball to code...
