Do you plan to provide a box or casing for the board in the package, if you have already found a model that fits correctly ? That's sometimes hard to find !
I can only provide the board and components to put on it. The box is up to the end-user. When there is a will, there is a way.
Very interesting, looking for a cheat RGB converter solution for some time.
Have some simple old skool solder skills, will that be enough to finish one myself?
I am interested, RGB monitors are getting old...

Why not add a scanline generator ? This is quite simple to add it on a RGB signal line.

The converter board does not produce VGA signal, so there's no problem of odd and even lines. The output is a high quality S-Video signal (or a bit crappy composite signal). The upconversion to VGA is the next step in development of this converter, I will evaluate the cheap ways of implementing a scan doubler on the same board.
I'm not talking of scandoubler, but "scan line generator".
This introduce scan line in the image to reporduce CRT TV image feeling on a LCD Display.
This is really a very pleasant effect that add some enjoyment to the image.

Ah, I misunderstood. Well, this may be a good idea, but will complicate the board and increase the price. I will give it a thought, thanks. I never aim to make things worse, and IMO this makes a picture worse. But for the nostalgic effect that will do.
While I am waiting for the first boards I am already designing the board for EL1883 + AD725 chips, which is smaller than the original board (just 85x60mm):

As you can see, this board does not have connectors, just placeholders for jumpers. You can either solder the wires from conectors directly to the board or you can use a jumper + Dupont female connector.
Count me in for one pleace.
