Confirmed!!
Working in any memory configuration now
Since I don't have a megaflash, I use SR only for disk images. However each time SRI runs, you need to re-confirm with space/button... Seems a bit redundant?
I'll continue to test with all diskimages I can find, various sound carts etc.

can the English snatcher be loaded using sofarun and sofarunit?
or should it install ?
Opethian: I assume you mean SD Snatcher English, just tested that, but no - it is apparently one of those disks that accesses the disk rom directly. Hangs at boot.
I played the Oasis translation of SD Snatcher from hard drive with START.COM years ago...
I tested with the Thevma repatched version, but you're right Manuel it actually works - just not if you enter 0 for no scc ...

The Snatcher (not SD Snatcher) japanese version is working fine in both MFR and Sunrise IDE here, launched from disks images. I have not tried the english translated version (don't have the disk images, just using the installed version on my SD card).
Please let me know if you have problems running it.

SD Snatcher disk access is really simple (sector based, no tricks).
If you mean the awesome Project Melancholia translation, this one uses extra memory mapper RAM to do its stuff. So it might not work if you have only 256KB RAM. Could you try it with the 4MB RAM extension plugged in ?
I tried it in openMSX with 256KB RAM & the Nextor kernel: it works. But it seems like Nextor is using less memory for its usage compared to Sunrise IDE, that might explain why (another good reason to switch to Nextor!).
The old Oasis translation should work in all cases (but well, it's hard to play this one after the Project Melancholia version ).

I was hesitating about the 2nd validation in SRI, but this shows you how many disks are inserted, which are the keys, including the one for "user disk", so I left it this way.

Great, thanks a lot for that! I'd really like to have SofaRun the most flawless as possible. I think I'll need to add a FAQ somewhere on my site and in the documentation, and the workarounds for some games (including the patches I have for the games making direct ROM access or having their own RAM detection routines, like NearDark did).
About the RAM detection routines problems : this will only happen if you have several RAM slots, and can be mainly seen in compile disk games.
Also, some disks are crashing or have corupted graphics on too fast disk accesses, you'll have to increase the "delay" parameter then.
Im not talking about SD Snatcher
the translation has a disk 0 to install the game to HD or run th egame in 50/60hz
I was wondering if I could install the game to B: (SD card) and run from there like sofarun or do I have to concatenate the disk and use sofarunit?
SofaRun 2.0 can also launch .BAT, .COM & basic (.LDR) files, so both options should work.
