SofaRun v2.0 bug report thread

So, interesting enough, removing the file didn't fix it, so I looked into verifying that the MFR was working correctly.

Since MFR (OPFXSD) does not manage zip files, I did unzip one Konami cartridge and tried... then I tried the uncompressed ROM file with SofaRun and it worked!

So, something is amis when I try to flash a zip file

Sorry for late answer.

Here's what we could do to check the origin of the problem :
1. Select "Clear temporary files" from the SofaRun main Menu. This will remove all "temporary" unzipped files.
2. Launch the game that you mentionned earlier (the one that is working when you unzip it manually) from a ZIP file. The game should not launch correctly. Just reset your MSX.
3. Go to your SofaRun temporary directory (should be A:\TMP), and try to launch the "xxxxxxxx.ROM" file (there should be only one as you cleaned all other files at step 1.).
4. Check if the game launches normally or not.

If the game is not running OK, it should be interesting to check the difference between the xxxxxxxx.ROM file extracted by SofaRun and the working one you extracted manually. Ideally, if you could send me both files so that I could have a look ?

Ok, I finally got time to get back to this.

I tried what you asked, and the uncompressed file from tmp does not launch either.

I have created a shared folder on google drive and sent you a link with the files

Interestingly, the auto uncompressed file is 40K, while the version uncompressed on my computer is 56K. Maybe there is extra 0s at the end of the file that get trimmed when uncompressed?

Is this possible to implement joymega buttons for disk games as well?
