XRGB-3 (Micomsoft) for Sale

Hi Eric!

Just out of curiosity, what is your asking price for it? I own one and I use it all the time with my MSX machines. I may have a friend who is interested in it, but I guess it would depend on the price.

Thanks Eric! I'll let them know if they are interested, but with international shipping it may be out of his budget for one of these.

In any case, to all other interested parties, I use this thing pretty much exclusively for a pixel-perfect vibrant MSX display. I am using S-Video out from the MSX which gets upscaled. I'd highly recommend it if you enjoy good quality visuals.

Strange, why not feed XRGB with pure RGB signal from tR?

Well, I guess I never really tried it. lol I just always used S-Video. You see Scart and Japanese RGB-21 are not very commonly used here in the United States, so before I got my X-RGB3 I was using S-Video Out directly to a CRT Television. I do actually have an MSX to RGB (Japanese RGB21) cable which I just finally found hidden in a mess of other wires and I just plugged it in from the Turbo-R into the Game In port on the front of the X-RGB3 and it works very well, so yes, this absolutely can be done.

So the MSX when hooked to the XRGB3 does a straight DVI-to-DVI out to the monitor or DVI-to-HDMI depending on what the monitor supports. I've tested with 2 monitors without any issues. One is DELL model 1908FPt and the other is a HPw2207h. Both of these monitors also support 24kHz signal from the PC-88/98 machines as well.
