It says "SVI GAME"... but to me it looks more like the Atari 2600 game "Planet Patrol". (Which is very different from SVI-328's Planet Patrol, as the latter is a Zaxxon clone.)

What do you think? Is it a real SVI game? Which?

NYYRIKKI: that's indeed the Atari 2600 game "Planet Patrol" i was talking about... You think they put up an Atari 2600 game by Spectravision (the name of Spectravideo before they changed it) by mistake?

Wild guess: they started selling the joystick for the Atari 2600 (same plug as MSX if I'm not mistaken), then tried to redesign the package to make it attractive for the new SVI market. They added an SVI logo on the package, but had no time or were too lazy to make a new photograph, so they just took the Atari picture and added an "SVI GAME" text on it!

It must be hard not to press this red button!
Well, I think the designer creating this box did´nt care about somebody in the future would notice they just took a stock photo. And I think it was much easier for the photographer get a Atari connected, than getting a more expensive and harder to get 3x8. But the main reason would be the exposure time. Also a console was needed, that could pause the action, to shoot the photo without blur.

Well, for the MSX version did did put in a real MSX GAME, see the wiki page of this joystick: https://www.msx.org/wiki/Quickshot_QS-5 So I'm not sure that was the argument...
Also, it's 'coincidence' that the "SVI GAME" is actually... an SVI game (so, its precursor actually).... for Atari 2600? :)

You may wonder about the big red button, but the reason comes from QuickShot III for Colecovision:

I think the joystick could have been bearable if they would have not used those cheap bubble switches that are only good for alarm radios... and not especially good even on that purpose.

No it didn't come with a real game, I meant that it shows a real MSX game on the MSX version of the box. See that Wiki page.

There is not an MSX version of the box, the box has the MSX picture on one side, and the SVI on the other.
