Anyone have any idea what I should ask for this? Need to figure out a ballpark value also so I can maybe figure out what I could possibly trade for (I may be interested in trades) I can't find anyone selling one online besides on a foreign site and the price calculated to $10k USD with the adapter I figure that cannot be right...

When I bought my Yamaha CX5MII three years ago, I had the option to also buy a Yamaha FD-05 FDD. It would’ve been a good deal, but in the end I passed on it since I had no real use for it and someone else had also indicated interest after me, saving € 20 on the price of the total set (I think it would’ve been worth € 50).

The FD-03 is a single-sided drive though, which is of limited use, though if someone knows how to replace the drive with a DS one, he’ll have a nice looking external drive. Also do you have the interface cartridge? With interface cartridge I think it’s worth in the ballpark of € 30. Of course it all depends on what someone is willing to pay.
