Hello,

I made a patch to allows us to play Dooley on on real MSX.
Please tell me if it works well or not entirely.

With rom loaders? I just tried and it doesn't work.
Tried with EXECROM and ODO, no luck... it doesn't work at all.
CRC of the ROM I have before applying the patch: 71A1B1EC

71a1b1ec is crc32 of original Rom. After applying the patch it should be 84684fc4.

I tried the Stage 1 on Turbo R and the MSX1 CF-7000 with a MAB 16K (FL16.COM) and an ESE-Ram SCC (MGLOAD.COM) and an MMM. Works fine on Turbo R.

On the CF-2700 graphics are buggy at start but the game seems to work fine.

I have tested it on NMS8280 and A1WX and GR8NET via _NETBROWSE ---> TestOK
I have tested it on NMS8280 via FDD with MSXDOS ODO v0.4 and EXECROM v1.2f ---> FAILED
I have tested it on A1WX via FDD with MSXDOS and EXECROM v1.2f ---> FAILED
I have tested it on A1WX via FDD with MSXDOS and ODO v0.4 ---> TestOK

New patch! Compatibility is improved.

Dooley-tst2.ips.zip

- There is no more graphical bug on MSX1.
- Works on the Sony HB-F500.
- Works with SofaRom (and maybe also with ODO or EXECROM)

I played until the boss of stage 2 without problem. I'll put the patch in the downloads if feedbacks are positive.
