Question still unanswered, what "Turbo-R" column means?

I think this column means R800 modes.

It is not because the Turbo R will not use any mapper other than its internal for primary RAM that external mappers are not usable. Despite it I do not think this column is useful because it will surprise me that an extension does not work especialy in these modes.

Maybe we should just put a column for incompatibilities.

I added the section about it into the RAM Expansions wiki page.
Next question is about how to make additional mapper compatible in proper way. It is not possible to detect the weak or strong pull-up unless board can measure current; it will also be not that reliable to detect conflict by reading mapper registers, say, 100 times to see if there's any differing value read. In general it is internal T9769 which does not follow the standard...

Reading mapper registers are only for internal mapper. External mappers with reading mapper registers are for MSXs without mapper. This feature has not been clearly established by the standard and was removed anyway. So the T9769 follow the standard. The method used to deal with unused bits varies from one MSX to another (mirror of used bits, always reseted, set, etc). I don't think that one solution can work for all cases.

FYI: I am focusing on it because I have got a question from our community. So there're colleagues who need clarifications on the subject.

This is not entirely true. Nextor can force the Turbo-R to select the biggest memory mapper when you hold 4 on boot.

Why is there a Sakhr AX-150 and not a Yamaha AX-150?

All Sakhr MSX1/MSX2 computers were manufactured by Hitachi, Sanyo or Yamaha. They all display the Sahkr logo, what's not the case of the non-Arabic machines released by Hitachi, Sanyo or Yamaha. And of course, they were released by Sakhr in Arabic countries, not by Hitachi, Sanyo or Yamaha.

I'd use the most prominent brand that was put on the casing.

By doing that, you would create a discrimination and an incoherency in the Wiki because only the Sahkhr computers manufactured by Sanyo (and those assembled in Taiwan) don't wear the brand of their manufacturer. What's common to all the Sakhr computers is the Sakhr brand.

By the way, the mentioned discrimination and incoherency can be found in openMSX and I think it's a shame. It gives a wrong indication about the real number of computers released by Sakhr / Al Alamiah.

Well, the purpose is to recognize the machine by the name (not by showing how many machines were made by which manufacturer). And when using the name that is most prominently on the casing, I think that recognition works best.

I suggest to add Yamaha AX-150 redirecting to Sakhr AX-150.

Where does the memory map come from? In my model, the Arabic ROM is in subslot 1, not 3.
