I would advise to check www.buyee.com -- japanese auction proxy.
if you're lucky you can get FS-A1GT there for $850. shipping is extra [about $100 or more... plus taxes on import in your country]
It is somewhat rare even there,
like this one: https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/e333291272
or grab this FS-A1ST from ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223340464369
good system for good price appear once in 3-4 weeks though.
Give it a try.
Good luck.

Yeah I have seen the one in eBay, but since you are the community I thought I would buy from someone here or at least ask for advise

FS-A1GT pros: 512K RAM default, MSX-MIDI on board (if you want to play Illusion City with an MT32), easily fitted with a 230V PSU.
FS-A1GT cons: No composite out so no easy way to connect the audio out to your amp, jail bars on screen (removable if you're not afraid ot do a minor solder job, way more expensive than an FS-A1ST, belt driven diskdrive.

FS-A1ST pros: No jail bars, composite out which can be used for audio straight to amp, bit cheaper, easily fitted with a 230V PSU, easily extended to 512K RAM.
FS-A1ST cons: belt driven diskdrive.
FS-A1ST not so much cons: 256K RAM default (you can still run about everything), no MSX-MIDI (there's hardly support for it anywhay so why would you miss it).

So if you want to save some money on a computer which is still growing more expensive every year, pick an ST. You most probably don't miss anything the GT has to offer.

From time to time, quite "cheap" specimens cross the forum here as well. You need some patience. The easiest way is to buy a computer from the same continent. But I don't want to influence you, importing devices from overseas is one of the experiences everyone should make once.

That was the detailed diffs I was trying to get for sometime. Thank you very much.
How about the games running faster than normal? Fixable?
