Alpha 7 is now released!

Lots of cool stuff in there, including:
- Undo/redo for the Pattern Viewer (only... for now)! This is a life changer Smile.
- Color for any instrument. Also a life changer once you have used it.
- An effect chooser in the Pattern Viewer, you'll never have to learn them anymore!
- Sound effect support for AKY player (you can now use it in your games).
... And many bug fixes and smaller features.

A bonus for non-MSXists:
- YM chip support.
- 6502 AKY player.

Download the application here!

Is there any function to change the music volume or tempo during playback (in the Z80 player)?

An essential and complete PSG development tool.
Thank you Targhan.

No for both (the music volume change was present in Arkos Tracker 1). Both options are doable... Do you need it for a specific player (AKG, AKY, LW, AKM)?

I need help, I'm probably doing something wrong.
I'm trying to assemble the PlayerAkgTester_MSX with asm generated file from the song "Targhan - Sarkboteur.aks".
Then I'll disassemble obtained code to assemble it with Glass. In the player tester I set the ROM player variable and the buffer address too.
when I try to assemble:
rasm PlayerAkgTester_MSX.asm -o song
rasm return this error report:
[.\PlayerAkg.asm:668] expression [(PLY_AKG_EVENT)] keyword [PLY_AKG_EVENT] not found in variables, labels or aliases
[.\PlayerAkg.asm:840] expression [(PLY_AKG_EVENT)] keyword [PLY_AKG_EVENT] not found in variables, labels or aliases
2 errors

my need is to call the player within the ISR (I've hooked my sprite management routine in the ISR and want to put the AKG player code just after it). I'm doing this to test if I have to change something in my code before compose songs...

Something wrong with the configuration. If there is PLY_CFG_UseEventTracks = 1 in the conifg, but no PLY_AKG_Rom = 1, PLY_AKG_EVENT is included, otherwise isn't.

That could be a bug. I remember not getting AKG ROM player to work but left troubleshooting that to a later time. Might be some config combinations just don't work. I don't know more for the moment.

Might be a good idea to try other players as well.

@thegeps I don't understand what you mean by "disassemble obtained code". Did you try Disark to convert the code? PM me (via the website) to understand what went wrong, because it should be seamless. Did you check the tutorial about converting the player?

@zPasi You should have contacted me if something went wrong, this is supposed to work :). Please PM me and we'll sort this out.

@Targhan
I noticed it was a previous version of Arkos, have to recheck with the current.
