I think you pmean pins. in. Looks like you got it bacwards. Pin 5 should go to the mic and pin 4 to phono.

I don't have the service manual, but if you want to try a super simple cassette input circuit, you can try ie.

It should get the job done, but you really need to turn the input volume to 11

According to specs, what I wrote earlier should be correct. You may have a short circuit there. That would explain how you are able to record to tape, but reading the tape doesn't work.

You have a multimeter, so you could "beep" check the cable?

My friends, I would like to thank all those who helped me. I have solved the problem after I opened the computer and followed the tracks from the pin cassette to the Ic CMOS no TC47HC04P . I found where the line input and output are. I was wrong about the connection. Please accept my apologies if I didn't listen to you.
