From http://openmsx.cesco.it

Third Alpha release is here, and Peashooter is finally becoming a serious frontend ;-)

What’s new in this release:

* You can (finally) select which machine configuration you want to use to run MSX games and applications. Just verify that you have provided the necessary system ROMs to openMSX before using a machine, or the emulator will not load. In case of doubt, just select “Default configuration”. You cannot have different configurations for each game yet, but you can define different configurations for MSX1 ROMs, MSX2 ROMs, MSX2+ ROMs, Disks and Tapes.
* Now the front-end have a built-in database with a list of valid MSX1 and MSX2 files. If your files match the HASH codes of a valid ROM, it will be detected by the frontend that will show you some information such as the title, year of publication and publisher. If available, it will also display a brief description of the game / app.
* You can also alter the description of a game or application just clicking twice on the description box (the little textbox on the lower-right corner).
* Minor improvements and some bug fixed.
