I will see it tomorrow (I've already turned off the PC). I know I can do something similar ti hyper rally using the same technique I used for seuten pure 120, but I wanted to code something like outrun...

wow, really cool. And so cryptic code. Hard to decipher without its coder explanation. But I think that the road itself consist of magnified sprites, and the grass smooth animation is obtained by chars dynamic redefinition (I read Dvik created some errors to be able to call often that code part, at the beginning of the listing using "on error"). Really smart. As I said, using the technique I used in SeuTen I think I can make a Hyper Rally basic clone... we can store 6 screen1 nametables in VRAM on MSX1 so 2 for straight road (with alternate white border and center stripes) 2 for right curves and 2 for left curves... alternating them using VDP() function will do the trick (the only problem could be blocky and slow animation during acceleration ore else the game can start in full speed run like nascar races...)

But maybe I'll do that AFTER MsxDEV'20... I have to complete Freedom Fighter now. Or at least have a 3 level game, instead of 5, just to make an entry and complete then the game as and extended version with a proper animated storyline and different musics for each level. I'm working all alone (Francesco Is so slow drawing graphics, till now I had to do all the work by myself, redrawing the tiles... Only the sprites are his creatures till now. A large part of them, not all of them)

And I haven't help for musics and sound fx too. I'm learning how to use Arkos Tracker2, but it's a lot of work load for me and I have to compose all the songs (actual first level song is from a C64 game, composed by Rob Hubbard, I can't use it)
