I have 2 SCSI scanners (one HP and one ScanPro IIe Storm) received for free.
There is a program for this you can download it see below,
but this is for the Epson GT-5000 (SCSI) scanner.

The program unfortunately does not see the 2 scanners above, but the MEGA SCSI cartridge does.

Does the program only work with the Epson GT-5000?

I download it here:
http://www.big.or.jp/~saibara/msx/ese/lzh/escan000.lzh

The manual say the following Epson GT series image scanner are supported.

-Function level B4
GT-6500 (ART, ART2, WIN, WIN2, WINS)
GT-8000 (ART, WIN), GT-9000 (ART, WIN)

-Function level B5
GT-5000 (ART, WINP, WINS), GT-8500 (ART, WIN)

For scanners other than GT-5000 and GT-8500, the functions of this utility are partially limited. I don't think there is any problem with GT-6500 or later.

You see in the setup (ESET.COM) at the SCANNER 2 question marks. Is it possible to change this ?

Does anyone have an EPSON GT SCANNER series ?

For example :
I start with ESCAN.COM, but after a few seconds i see the Fatal Error picture

For example :
I start with ESCAN ESCIMSFT.DRV but also after a few seconds i see the Fatal Error picture

Although all those scanners communicate over SCSI, the language they speak is completely different. There is no way that a program designed for Epson scanners will work with a different brand. Even different scanners from the same manufacturer can speak an entirely different language. There was no standard for this at all.

Did you put ESCIMHRD.DRV and ESCIMMAN.DRV in the same folder with ESCAN.COM? Did you try by entering ESCAN ESCIMHRD.DRV and ESCAN ESCIMMAN.DRV?
