Okay that's right. Have you thought about possibility to insert support for network printers? Wink

Didn't check it out yet, I would have to check Wi-Fi direct and related specifications to see if it is feasible or not, as the ESP is not running Linux, it doesn't have drivers for printers, but if there is a common specification that most printers adhere to, that would make it really nice to implement. So I don't have an answer for that right now, but I'm working on the other suggestion you've made Wink

I could quickly change BlueMSX source code to mimic the interface SM-X has between "MSX Slot" and ESP-01 (a module containing ESP8266 and flash memory and antenna) and redirect a serial port in my PC to it, so I just plug an ESP-01 with the firmware I've created on a serial USB adapter and can easily debug and code for it, that has increased the productivity of bug fixing and new feature creation tenfold, I've quickly tested several scenarios I could simulate on BlueMSX to fix a few UNAPI bugs, and now I'm almost finished with a rom version of the UNAPI driver, that might be the solid base of a really cheap MSX Accelerated Network Adapter. Wink

Oh, I get it. That's super super cool. I'm really looking forward your work, it's been amazing so far.

Most network printers are directly connected to your router, so I don't think Wi-Fi direct is needed.
I imagine instead that it is possible to create a output to be sent to a TCP/IP LPR port.

Here is the result of the blueMSX virtual MSX printer.

Hey, that sounds familiar. I also see that often "No enough memory" and a halt. Not with ESE. But I can't remember what it was with....

I've seen that same sentence very recently, when I tried to run the boosted turboR machine with an external 16MB memory extension I was testing and SLOTCHK.ROM. It worked only when I booted with SHIFT pressed. May be related.
