Hello all!

I'm trying to find this war strategy game in msx. I cannot remember it's name and here are the all details I can recall:

- It was in a cassette compilation with other games like chuckie egg. It was the last one in B-side.
- It was partly (completely?) programmed with basic!
- It was a european game (french?)
- There was a loading picture which was drawn in real time and took a quite a few minutes

In the beginning of the game you choosed your team. Each soldier did have a different abilities. I can remember a sniper, which was marked as a column "s" in the game play. All the characters were marked in this way with letters.
Graphics were very simple. Lot's of green areas with red letters as your troops.
You moved your troops into the area and tried to infiltrate somewhere?Smile

Huh, that's all I can remember now. Maybe I can pinch some more memories...

It´s Special Operations like Guillian said, my old favourite game!! Smile

Compilation was "6 COMPUTER HITS", published by Beau-Jolly, extremely good compilation cassette! Smile Thought I surely remember that all games were recorded both sides, except first one, Brian Jack´s Superstar Challenge, which had half of the events on beginning of the A-side and other events were on beginning of the B-side.

Games were:

Brian Jack´s Superstar Challenge
Disk Warrior
Hustler
Chuckie Egg
Les Flicks
Special Operations

British games indeed. I've got another excellent British compilation that included: Zoids, Manic Miner, Elidon, Barn Stormer and Shark Hunter. It was called Five Stars.

Please don´t forget another british compilation, this time 2 cassette compilation:

Beau-Jolly´s "10 COMPUTER HITS 3"

...and again... where are parts 1 and 2 ????!?!?!?

Spectrum and Commodore 64 had numerous COMPUTER HITS compilations, if 10 COMPUTER HITS 3 and 6 COMPUTER HITS are only ones, why there is number 3?!?! I always used to think that "6 COMPUTER HITS" could be first or second part, but... there are difference between those two compilations, as other has 6 and other has 10 games. As there is 10 COMPUTER HITS 3, there should be at least another two 10 game compilations around......
