I have replaced a couple of 110V transformers in the GT & ST, with a 220V version.
The transformer I used for this is : Conrad article : 516007

Are there any modifications necessary to make it fit properly? Would appreciate it if you'd show some pics of it :)

Unfortunatly I don't have any of the Turbo-R's that I've modified.
The transformer fits without modificating the Turbo-R.

If you look at the transformer,it got 2 mounting brackets, you have to remove them.

If they are removed from the transformer, it will fit in the turbo-R, but then it will be loose in the machine.

To mount the transformer I used a little metal strip (red rectangle) and the 2 original screws (yellow circle)

I think Retrofan and Meits (maybe you can just drive by and have a coffee and if welcome I would like some cofee to Meits ;-) ) have a Turbo-R of mine that has this fix. Maybe one of them can take a picture :D

Hi there.
i have got 3 different power suppies :
i use them one in time then i change to another :
so this it comes for GT :
they are 3 sized power supplies to me.
Very small (guite much heat when use ) overseas converter model f-11
bigger one : singway SW - S11 power adaptor for GT item number 115919 it gives 150 watts to my Turbo R
and the biggest is :Type : 1-FAS MBS 60 SWedish product. fuse 0.5 Amps
gives 60 watts
so these 3 power supplies i use my TR GT msx.
i change these suddenly.

but if i know how to put a pictures in here...

Thank you all of you.

@Gradius2: did you finally succeeded with your power supply? Maybe other people can use that information as well.

I got a brand new GT and it was already sold, so I haven't the need to make a mod.

Will probably get a 2+ in near future.

Warmth can make them go BOOM
Be sure not to have too many cartridges in your slot(expander)s... The original internal psu of those panasonic computers can't match the usual european models like Philips and Sony...

@Meits: Just use 230V on those Panasonic models or even better use 230V and if needed an external PSU for the MK slotexpander like me...
