Hello there,

I just wanted to let you know that yeterday I reported shill bidding against soukasen3 on Ebay, since he keeps bidding on his own items.

He outbidded my two "last seconds" (knowing him) bids for items that nobody else bidded for (hence, still on its starting bid price) just 2 seconds after I bidded using the usual m***r private user ID.

I think it would be agood for the MSX community and for commerce on Ebay in general that everytime we feel he is at it again, we reported that through the proper channels.

Let's not let him keep on doing this anymore.

For an eBay seller that tries to cheat customers out of money, I'd have no problem if anyone posts some personal details here. Things like real name, e-mail / PayPal addresses, bank account numbers, telephone, home address, whatever you have that's less likely to change than say, an eBay account.

NOT to invite online (of even offline) 'attacks' on that person! But to make it easier for future buyers to detect that they're dealing with same person, even if that person started using another eBay account or changed his/her e-mail address. As for ethics: people that make it a habit to cheat others, shouldn't complain if details of who/what/where/how are exposed. Hannibal

I´ve already reported him a week ago. It changed nothing, he just keeps doing it.

I guess we were "duelling" on his items yesterday, BTW. :-D

But yes, i second that. I saw one item of interest, waited 4 days to place a first bid (about one hour to auction end), no one interested before. Then our little friend m***r, 9 feedback, LOADS of bids on soukasen´s auction & none in other seller´s, sniped me in 4 dollars (topped me + 4 USD). With about one minute to auction end i´ve topped him and got sniped again. So I gave up & he kept the item.

Little bastard. :-/

So basically you, fine gentlemen, don't think that this m***r is a collector buying stuff and willing to pay more then you?

How about sending complain to eBay and ask that soukasen3 store just send you all their goods for free? Wouldn't that be very nice?

Dhau, you should check m***r for yourself :-)

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidderProfile&mode=1&item=140421916366&aid=m***r&eu=%2Bu%2BRzCudxZNMItYuD%2FT3PfLqnUd64uxa&view=BUYER&ssPageName=PageBidderProfileViewBids_Buyer_ViewLink

And please stop the drama, we´re all grown ups in here and we´re basically using a right eBay provide us. If we think something sound strange we report; eBay verifies and act accordingly. If we´re wrong we´re wrong, so be it - and poor m***r will keep buying expensive shit from soukasen3. ;-)

The point is, we have a suspicion and we have the right to ask for a fair investigation from eBay.

My point is, we should complain to Ebay every single time he does this.

He's been doing it for years, and we may have talked about it on the forums, but maybe we haven't taken enough action where it is proper.

So, he does that, we report him. Until either he stops doing it or he is banned from ebay.

Rumrum, a quick research in the forums show people complaining about soukasen3 since at least March 2008!

http://www.msx.org/forumtopic8401.html

There's even a topic called "cheating again?" about him: http://www.msx.org/forumtopic10338.html

A lot of people has supposedly contacted eBay and nothing happened. :-(

I guess we have only two options: stop bidding or contact Yakuza. :-D

I might have another crazy idea: how about setting a reasonable high limit on bid that you are comfortable paying? Although then you wouldn't be able to scream "OH, THE PAIN! THE HORROR! THE DRAMA!" while tears mess up your makeup?

I was like you once, but after using some thinking (with the brain, it's a rarely used organ between the ears) I realized that *GASP* I was the one who put the crazy top bid on something that I don't believe should cost so much. The knowledge set me free...

Nevermind, i´m too old to pick useless fights in online forums. ;-) Everyone in here since 2008 are idiots and you are the only one with a brain. Kudos to you, you should donate your body to medicine.

I fail to see the use of what you call a brain in your answer and the usefulness of it in the context of the thread. Thanks for stopping by thou.
