I always liked, but never owned an LS-120 drive. Who's got one connected to the MSX?

LS-120 was intended as an alternative for the infamous ZIP-drive. It's benefits: 120MB disks and the ability to read ordinary 3.5" diskettes a lot faster than ordinary 3.5" disks. As an added bonus, with an LS-120 drive you can use 1.44MB disks on MSX Wink.

Luciano Sturaro (www.msxpro.com) has a LS-120 drive working perfectly with IDE. Maybe soon I'll get one too. :)

Actually, I believe that the LS-120 is a successor to the Sony 3 1/2 Floppy Disk Drive (the 2DD was used on MSX home microcomputers). It is compatible with older 3 1/2 disks and this newer type of media (120).
