EPROM bits reorganizer 1.05

I'm not really an EPROM specialist, so I hope I didn't say something utterly stupid in this newspost ^_^

You post it right, snout. Just your example is a bit wrong: such as the ROM of the MegaRAMDisk (a MegaRAM+RAMDisk from a Brazilian company called DDX).
BTW, due to an upcoming project of mine I also made a tool like this one, but for Windows platform. It can be downloaded from http://www.msxpro.com/pc.html (check for "CodEprom").

Somehow I feel, that "making it nearly impossible to replace the internal software" is a bit over reacting... If you are skillfull enough to replace internal software, this should not be probem. Here is program, that does the same thing on MSX:

I needed a utility like this two years ago! when building Carchano's CIEL Disk Interface when I noticed that the pinout of its EPROM was ALL a mess! This is so in way to simplify the electronic circuit board. To solve this I used a NVRAM ( BQ4011 / DS1230 ) instead of EPROM 27C256, writing the ROM with the MSX.
I thought to make to myself an program to adapt and not use an rewritable IC, but I decided the hardware solution, more expensive, the only drawback is NVRAM internal battery life, about 10 years maybe more....
