In memoriam: Giorgio Poggi

On April 23rd, 2006, Giorgio Poggi - an active MSX user from Italy - passed away, after a long battle with a disease that leaves no escape. Giorgio was known from the Italian translations of many MSX games, including Metal Gear and YS. Our sympathy goes out to Giorgio's friends and relatives.

despite this sad news I must admin I had a laugh with this post. For the ultimate 'kick' some real freaks should have that put on their epitaph

I suppose Giorgio was suffering cancer concerning the post. I did not know him so I am not sure. Well, I can tell you, cancer is such an unfair way to die... People fight so hard to overcome it but most of them loose...
Rest in peace my friend. May you have found the rest you deserved after this period...
