Shouldn't the wiki discussion edits be shown in the reactions box like the reaction for articles? Otherwise they will go widely unnoticed...
Apart from the notification link that I get by e-mail on watched topics saying "You can view the comment at the following url " which then points me to the first page of the topic (and thus not doing what it promises, very annoying), I also get something weird when I do that with the language. URL shows www.msx.org, but most texts (not all!) are in Dutch. E.g. I see "EERSTE PREVIOUS" for the thread navigation links... The top bar is in English (Welcome Manuel | log out), the menu is in Dutch, "PAGINA" (Dutch), "Nieuwe reactie inzenden" (Dutch), but "Notify me when new comments are posted" and "Submit" are in English again.
Odd.... :S
Another weird thing: http://www.msx.org/search/apachesolr_search/"msx%20in%20the%20media"
gives me:
Your search yielded no results
That's odd, as there are several "MSX in the media" topics of several kinds...
Try "MSX + media" and it will work; obviously, "in" and "the" are the source of your unsuccessfull research.
However, the best option is advanced Googling !
Maybe a IE "feature", try Firefox !
And if you get an error in Firefox, use Chrome. And if you have an error in all browsers, please dont use the Internet
I've just switched to Chrome, because Firefox, after many years of good services, is now a new source of annoying blue screens of death (probably a memory problem with even interferences on the mouse comportement ). As Chrome handles the memory differently, I guess it's now the best choice
Viglink has been running on our website since July 2011, helping us pay for the hosting bills. They invited us to give the more intrusive 'Viglink Insert' a try, but clearly it's not a keeper. I changed the settings and things should be back to normal.
Why is the viglink insert back ON, very annoying
@AxelF - Just checked, but the link insertion is turned off and I cannot find any inserted links by Viglink. Might have been a temporary glitch @viglink?
Hmm its gone now ...
Thanks for your fast reply
Thanks for reporting. Stuff like this should not be happening at all. So if you spot it again... please let us know!
@AxelF : using of plugins to disallow viglink is the easy solution
- NoScript with Firefox
- ScriptSafe with Chrome
When you visit a site with such plugins, all is disallowed by default, you need to allow 'good' resources one by one, but when you have made the good choices, surfing is really more funny.
