No, it isn't. If you put an Amiga mouse to MSX and hit the right mouse button...BOOOM.
You will burn the port and maybe the motherboard, because right click will send +5Volts to the wrong pin of MSX!
Also, the joysticks isn't 100% compatible. The second fire button (if present) is at wrong pin.

I've sent 5V several times to wrong pins and at least a Philips 8245 didn't mind too much. Just some sparks and a reset Smile

If you connect an Amiga mouse, to your Philips and press the right mouse button, I guarantee you will burn at least the port.

Only joysticks that don't use power are compatible. That's because the 5V and GND are on different pins.
