How to make video cable for my GBS 8200 (RGB-VGA converter)

Hi i'm try to make a RGB scart cable for my GBS 8200 RGB to VGA converter, but I failed.
Do someone know the right wiring to make this cable? I found a guide to make one for a Tubro R bin plug connection.
But i'm want to make a cable for my Philips NMS 8250 or VG 8035 with scart.

Use the turboR guide but use the corresponding SCART pins instead of the DIN?

Yes I try it that but some reason I don't get it to work.
The guide I got whas very simple made:
Hello. These are the proper connections: black (gnd)->turboR rgb pin 1, red->turboR rgb pin 6, green->turboR rgb pin 7, blue->turboR rgb pin 8, gray (sync)->turboR rgb pin 4, yellow (vert. sync) -> not connected. Hope it helps. All the best.

Did you manage to get it connected in the right way? As I have bought a GBS 8200 as well and would like to connect it to my MSX. Or if someone else knows how to connect it properly to an MSX, it would be highly appreciated!

Nope, I only got fussy picture.
Its is not the GBS8200, becase It works great with my ZX Spectrum 128k.
I'm still looking for a fix for this...

The GBS 8200 has a normal VGA port for input which seems to be following the right specification. So there should be not much to it. Philips MSX machines with scart also follow the scart specification closely and should offer no problem.

The signals involed are not very complex so it should either work och it shouldn't. What you need is R,G and B which are colours and a sync signal(if using the scart socket this vill be the composite video signal), plus ground of course which is used as a reference point. The sync is basically the entire image except for the colours. You can connect just sync, ground and Red and get a stable but very red image.

If you get a fussy picture the connections are probably alright. But the GBS does not like the signal, which will probably be the sync signal. Are you using composite video or composite sync from the computers? You can try "cleaning" the signal or separate out the sync from composite video, that might do the trick. Then you can use the LM1881 chip to do that. It's common, quite cheap and easy to install. Here is a guide for connecting it: http://www.gamesx.com/misctech/lm1881.htm Just two capacitors and a resistor. A brave man can fit it into a scart plug even.

With the Philips MSX my GBS-8220 produces an image. The only issue I have now is that the image is having a vertical "wave". Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

On my Turbo-R GT it works fine in 60Hz, it doesn't though when I switch to 50Hz. Strange as I assume Raymonds'Philips runs in 50Hz by default.

What are you experiencing when switching to 50Hz? My Philips is running 50Hz, however the wave problem still exists
