@ Sinclair
I started with this.
A Konami turned into a flashrom (sorry was a long time ago, in the time a Konami cartridge alone would go for €2,50 on ebay. :-?
My first flashrom and the PCB i used for the measurements.
Then i made my first layout for a pcb.
My first PCB with 2 Eproms on board, but i didn't see the purpose for two eproms so i made a smaller and simpler one.
Cutting cost, because you pay per square cm.
The first (on the right) i made in 2013 and the second (on the left) i made in 2014. More jumper possibilities.
And these PCB's fit perfectly in the casings from Eric Boez.
The Eprom PCB from 2014 are still available :)
And the PCB's from Forum member Alexey also fit the casings.
So that's where my ideas came from.
Emil Sokolowski
That's.
Where I can get the covers at a reasonable price?
Real nice . I love those Overrich cases.
i need those cases!
I need them too!! It is said that some are for sale, but I cannot understand how to buy them, google does not translate!
Send him an email. (overrich[at]naver[dot]com)
This guy had a great idea to create cartridge cases using laser-cut acrylic sheets. Maybe the same idea can be used to create bigger cartridge shells, like those needed for the GFX9000 or the Modulon slot expander.
Only the screws head shape should be changed from pan to conic, so it doesn't scratch the MSX or other surfaces.
Screws on the back of the cartridge is a very bad idea IMHO. On some computers they may not allow the cartridge to go in the slot. So far I checked several different cartridge cases and the ones that Eric sells are the best. Sturdy, can be properly closed, easy to disassemble. The 5 euro price tag is a big high, but how many cases does anyone need for his projects anyway? I bought over 20 cases for me and my friends from Eric and I am quite happy.

It can be fixed using Oval Head Screws
