I'm working on a DIY keyboard project and I'm looking for some missing key caps.

Specifically I would like to buy punctuation, modifiers and cursor keys (I'll take a full set as well, though) from a Toshiba HX-10 (or anything else that's pretty and Alps compatible (i.e. small, rectangular peg)).

I thought about getting a full machine from ebay and harvesting the keys but most of those are still in good working condition and I think it would be bit of a shame to rip them apart (also, they are a bit expensive for a couple of keys). So, if you have spare keys or a broken machine lying around and want to get rid of the key caps, please PM me.

I have a HX-10 on offer, but many keys are not working (the computer itself works fine).
But I guess that's exactly what you are trying to repair?

Yes, that would be pretty much what I am looking for. How much would you want for it?

Sorry, I just realized, I might have misread your response which might have made my response slightly confusing.

So, to clarify, what I am looking for is really only the key caps (i.e. the colourful bits of plastic that sit on top) themselves, not the keyboard or the key switches. If your machine has dead keys that doesn't really matter for me as long as the key caps themselves are ok (and, importantly, their stems, i.e. the square pegs that go into the switch, are intact).

Hi, I have a Pioneer px-7 which looks like it uses the same type of switch as the Toshiba. I need 12 of them. Do you know where I could find them or replacement. Can you clean the old ones.
