Take a disk image (make a copy if needed) and use an emulator to do this:

Then: Call format
Then push A (to select the A drive)
And 2 to format it double density (assuming your disk image is 720kb else use 1 for 360kb.

To prevent issues with self booting disks please insert the disk image after you boot the emulator into basic.

a physical disk: switch on the computer, when in basic insert the disk, type CALL FORMAT, A, 2, RETURN.
a DSK file: take any MSX DSK file from anywhere, make a copy of it if you like to keep the contents, start an emulator, from there on follow the instructions above.
