I looked in the game with windHex,
there aren't a lot of texts but it's done like a puzzle.
I know this system well.
It is used among others in Metal gear, Firebird, deep dungeon 2 and Rune worth.

I have almost finished the translation but I tried to save a draft game to see what it feels like,
but I get asked for a name again after entering one, over and over again
on my translated version as on the original
Otherwise it looks very good and not too complicated when it's in English
4) MAKE BACKGROUND
a) SELECT BACKGROUND
with up or down keys, select screen 1-2-3
b) PLACE WALL
with arrow keys + space bar
c) PLACE PATH

d) PLACE TILE PATTERN 10-20-30 (to increase the score)
with arrow keys + space bar
5) F1 - to menu back
6) MAKE CHARACTER
a) NEW ...OWN (create your own character- input NAME)
b) change the shape of the character according to
the direction of movement : YES
c) SAMPLE: choose with arrow key and push space bar
to move at right use shift key + arrow key
( do it for the 4 directions of the character )
d) >-< INVERT (choose what you want to invert)
use shift key + arrow key then SPACE
e) F1 to menu back
(if you want another character, redo New, etc..)
7) SOUND (if you want music)
8) CHOOSE STORY
when the character arrives at the edge of the screen, what does he do?
1) he stops 2) he goes to the other side.
SET TIMER: choose the duration of the stage

I tested my version and found errors. so I modified it.
Does anyone have a .cas image of the tape files so that I can test more meticulously?
the original from GAME LAND SPECIAL or others.
