MSX Fair Nijmegen 2023

The annual Dutch MSX fair in Nijmegen has set its date for the next edition for all MSX lovers to meet up and shake hands. On Saturday the 25th of March 2023 everyone is welcome to join the party.

In the golden days of MSX, back in the nineties, you could have a meet-up with fellow geeks a few times a year. These were good opportunities to get in touch and learn about new MSX related projects. If you missed a meeting or fair, no worries, 'cuz the next one was sure to be held soon. Besides printed magazines (remember those?), this was another shot to get informed about anything 8-bit related. Internet was just a dream away.

Hyperjump to the present - with today's technology and fast connections, there's no need to get out and drive to a meeting of MSX fans to get in the know. Nope, you'll just browse to your favorite website and get all the info you need. MSX fairs have become rare. But, not uncommon. And with reason - There's nothing like getting together, in a room, with like-minded people and have a ball.

Regarding being physically present, you'll get your change at that by visiting the annual Nijmegen MSX fair in Holland. In the year 2023, you are more than welcome to share good vibes at this get-together event. Have a real-life talk with real people (if you count MSX geeks as real people), touch real hardware, see new software live in action, enjoy a drink, or two, engage in the MSX-quiz, have another drink, and make new memories. This fair is all about connecting with MSX and its scene again.

Organized by Manuel Bilderbeek, the 2023's fair will be held on Saturday the 25th of March in "Dorpshuis De Lèghe Polder" in Beuningen, a village close to Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It opens for visitors at 10:00 and runs until 18:00 hours. Knowing the scene, the fun won't stop there.
