Is there a list of games taking advantage of FM-PAC somewhere on the internet?
I've googled but hasn't found anything yet.

No list, but you can check www.generation-msx.nl to see whether or not a game supports FM-PAC music.

Would be a nice feature for generation MSX though, a search on music chip.

Well, also much MSX 2 games support FM PAC when the game detects the OPLL, although they have PSG music by default.

Yes, that's what the developers called it, yet it is produced by an FM-PAC as well, isn't it? And as this thread is called that way, I like to use vocabulary at least the thread initiator utilizes. It would make it worth the effort if the guy/girl understands, now wouldn't it?

Should not be too complicated to create either - at least, I don't see any complications Smile.

No, it actually means different thing. FM-PAC is a cartridge produced by Panasoft. FM-PAC can be used as MSX-Music when compatibility mode is activated. FM-PAC has also SRAM memory (PAC cartridge compatible) that can be used to save game states in some games.

Usually games have special FM-PAC support routine to activate compatibility mode automatically. If there is support only for MSX-Music you need to execute CALL MUSIC before you can use FM-PAC as MSX-Music.

Yes, yes, I know Smile. Yet I was not wrong Tongue. MSX-Music is not the SAME as an FM-PAC, but it is PRODUCED by an FM-Pac. As well as by an FM-PAK, for that matter. Or the Zemina 'FM-PAC'. An FM-PAC contains both MSX-Music and SRAM functionalities and it's not clear from the first post in this thread which one of those he/she is looking for, but generation-msx.nl at least mentions games supporting MSX-Music (being one of the functionalities of the FM-Pac) Smile

I already own a PAC so the S-RAM is not important. But being ignorant I use the word FM PAC about the music/sound cartridges available.
