To say the true... I'm shocked with what a few bunch of people can do... In the the last few days there are in twitter, like I said, a few bunch of people, trying to finish with the Physical Dreams (PD). I put here the link https://twitter.com/sukumber/status/1626100861343608833. A guy with the nickname @FelixMSX made a compilation of all PD games to blacmail Jose Salguero Rico, the great headmaster of Physical Dreams. From the same @FelixMSX there is a MicroMancers (MM) compilation https://twitter.com/FelixMSX/status/1588194692532944898 that I believe that was this guy that was beyond the Micromancers finish too, but that I suppose! Because I'm just a old peaceful MSX lover like almost all of you, I think I should share these unacceptable news. I accept that this guys could have their own projects but slandering and pirating the enthusiasm and joy that the programmers of PD and MM put in their projects I don't accept. Sorry the outburst... but like I said I'm shocked. MSX is joy not fight! MSX4EVER
There are people trying to finish with the MSX homebrew copying the authors without their permission
I don't understand the subject of this posting. I read there is illegal copying of homebrew games and some people are trying to finish that. Sounds positive! Illegal copying is bad.
I also read you are old and peaceful. Maybe old, bit since you choose to start this thread this way, definitely not peaceful.
Hi Latok, you're doubly right! The verb is not the most correct. The correct verb is "to squelch"! Unfortunately I don't like this kind of bad new, not peaceful at all, about illegal copies! Regards
piracy in the MSX world? no way, that is odd, never happened before!!!.
Well, this is exactly the same thing that happened to us with this same user a few months ago. I'm glad to hear that the issue is finally being talked about, even if it didn't come up when it happened to us.
In my opinion the real problem is not piracy itself. At the very moment we offer the digital version of our games, we are aware that this happens... and honestly we don't care much, since the person who pirates a game usually didn't intend to buy it either. That's why we don't even bother to talk about it on the networks.
The crux of the matter is that this group of users tries to publish these roms and give them the maximum possible diffusion with the sole purpose of destroying the developers they don't like, trying to exert pressure by defaming them or stealing their work.
The truth is that it is quite embarrassing to see how a bunch of forty-something gentlemen act like kids throwing a tantrum trying to get attention.
The funniest thing is that every time a pirated game appears, the sales of the game end up skyrocketing, so they only get the opposite effect. Even so, it's seems that they still continue with their crusade. Where does so much rancor come from from people who don't even know us?
Oniric-Factor said all, better than me!
Campanera is not free right now and it is in the compilation!
Thanks for sharing. I completely agree with Oniric-Factor. Including the "get a life"-part. I could not have imagined piracy at this level existed these days. They spend time and money creating these compilations. Why on earth would you do that? What hate do you bring with you? I don't get it.
On the other hand, visibility of current software projects is not optimal. They may get an announcement on this site, but often disappear from the front page quite quickly. Not everyone is a daily visitor, and it's easy to miss these messages. Last year Ro launched the Hardware Makers and Sellers list in the Wiki. I think we should do the same for software.

It is not plain piracy. It is just hate and animosity towards particular developers.
Oniric-Factor and Micromancers in the past, Physical Dreams today, who-knows-who tomorrow.
My two cents: just don't feed the troll. Mute & block if you are on twitter, and mute & block anyone giving them relevance.

I think that's a fantastic idea. To create a kind of developers list where people could have a clear view of what is being produced in the MSX software scene without having to dive in the net will be very useful for users and developers.

I just checked the twitter of this user and it looks like a typical Spanish troll, writing like a far right politician and full of hate. He seems to be very bitter about something and it looks like this is the way he lets it out, making it look like he is in some sort of crusade against who knows what. I feel sorry for him.
Other than that, just block the guy, he is only polluting the atmosphere.
