Fray and DS6 "spanish version"
We didn't test those versions, because we only have the english translations...
W76NearDark, thanks for reply.
The 3 SQUARE game has the .DSK extension, and therefore I asume it is a sectorbases diskimage (or is this wrong thinking again, like I thought that .DSK which work in an emulator also should work on a real MSX?).
I also have problems with the diskimage of TOPOGRAFIE NEDERLANDS from Radarsoft.
Ray2day: the .dsk extension doesn't say that it's a sector based game, it's just the extension for a disk image.
You can even make a .dsk from an empty disk
I had some problems with runit, start and FDE aswell while the images where perfect, my problem had something to do with after I copied some new images on the CF-card while using my PC.
After copying everything to the PS, formating the CF card and copy everything back to the CF the problem was solved most of the time.
To see if the games are sector based insert dsk images on openmsx while it is in basic and then type "Files" and see what happens then.
Good luck !
p.s.:
Nice site by the way Ray!
3square is filebased
3square is filebased
Thnx Meits for checking... Topografie Nederland from Radarsoft is also filebased. The best way to make a proper .dsk for MSX usage is to use your program on the pc (eg. WinImage or Disk Manager from Lex Lechz) to dump the (maybe downloaded) .dsk on a real floppy and then use getdisk (made by Michel Shuqair) on the MSX to make a .dsk of it again. Needless to point out it has to be a sectorbased disc. Check it the way Moniz decribed
Hopefully this weekend I can test the Spanish versions... I'll let you know about it.
Thanks.
The speed of R800 is fantastic. Others games like Gazzel are a new experience with Runit /R.
