The interfaces we tested RunIt with:
- Sunrise IDE interface;
- Sunrise CF ATA-IDE interface;
- MSX Club Gouda Novaxis SCSI interface;
- ESE Artist's Factory MEGA-SCSI interface.
Just tested RunIt with pair of DSK images on SD/MMC drive, worked perfectly.
SD/MMC drive has it's own image emulator built-in, but running images with RunIt is much more convenient.
- Konami Collection disks (won't start and causes the MSX to hang);
BTW, I ran KGC 1-1 (the one with Knightmare on it) and it worked fine.
Well the translation itself is not crap but the adaptation to make it run on MSX2/2+ makes Illusion City go FUBAR.
It would be better if they would have kept it with translation only as the original japanese version works right out of the box. And the translations of ds6/xak series and fray work fine.

Thank you for the report. The aim was indeed always to get the most convenient loader as possible. Which works on the most common used hardware.
Temporary website to download the newest version of Runit.
Small adaptation done to run Fray the TurboR version from HDD
At this very moment Herzog is been taken care of... patience my friends
Is it possible to improve the program itself, requiring less patches in the games? (I'd rather have as little patching as possible...)
I could make Runit do patching on-the-fly but to keep performance of Runit as fast as possible it is easier to just make a small patch for the games.
All direct calls to the diskrom ($4010 read/write sectors) have to be patched. This is what all Bit2 games use and firehawk as well (you can either use adapt or the IPS patches).
The patches for the microcabin games are only for a TurboR as the buffering code will overwrite my fake diskrom. If you have a MSX2 or 2+ these games will run without patches.
When I debug games and find where they go wrong I either make a patch for the game or improve Runit depends on the reason why the game is not working.
New version posted, following games can be added to working list:
Herzog,
Testament,
Fantasm Soldier 2
Now i'm going to make a list of working games
Cool! Testament works!
