I stumbled on a big load of MID files on my harddisk which have the most weird names with some connection to MSX games or sequels of them.
Two tunes I found rather peculiar.

I found those versions on some Compjoetania music disks and I never knew what games they're from.
Which Parodius and Space Manbow are we listening to here? Anyone with a youtube clip to these tunes? Titles?

While I am trying to find more titles of MID files, I might come bothering you guys again in this topic... Stay tuned ;)

The Parodius thing appears to be a medley. There's shreds of stage and boss music.

The Space Manbow things start off with the music of the last stage (not inside the ship but the star field). Watch this one from 20:04

but from there it seems to go in another direction. Probably a variation on the theme, inspired by that song.

Ah, just asked Bart Roijmans. First measures are from Space Manbow. The rest he made up himself.
Funny that some random stranger made a MID out of it (which made me think that tune had its origins somewhere in Japan, but in fact it's from Noord Brabant Tongue )
