Joymega adapter on small PCB/connector (any interest?)

Dear Forum,

As I don't own a two button MSX joystick a friend will make a Joymega adapter on a small PCB with the connectors on both sides.
We where wondering if anybody else is interested in such a connector.
We could make some more small PCB's if that would help someone out there owning a MSX or X68000.

I may be interested depending on the price. Would it be just for 2 buttons or also support the 6 buttons with that multiplexing thingy?

Hi Syn,

Yes with the multiplexer on a very small PCB with two connectors (on the pcb).
I have a rendering of the product. But it seems I can't directly upload a picture to this forum.
Firstly it is a hobby. So we just would like to know if anybody is interesed in a device (if we are making one we can ofcourse make some more in one go for people who want to play games but don't want to buy a expensive joy and don't have the solder skills to make their own cable).
If yes then we can have a look what the part costs will be.

So this would do the conversion from MSX to a Megadrive controller correct? Sure I'd be interested in such a device depending on the price it would be to create one of these.

I do have a MSX Joypad, but if it were to break it might be expensive to replace. So it would be nice to have another option available. : )

Bump I am still interested in this btw, but as I mentioned it all depends on the price.

Since I am (and I think many other msx users are too) probably gonna buy those 3-euros-made-in-china knockoff-megadrive-joypads for it

I have made a tutorial to make the converter with a transistor and two resistors.
For now it is in Dutch, but a translation is in the making
