For MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD I use OPFXSD, for Konami Sound Cartridge (Snatcher SCC+) I use ROMLOAD.
Synthesix should work with both Konami4 and Konami5 mapper types btw.
...nitpick... Is there a reason to call these mappers still Konami4 and Konami5?!
Probably the long emulator's history, especially the influence of fMSX.But it's better to do as blueMSX and openMSX, and forget these old names.
Manuel: I wouldn’t know what else to call them.
@Grauw & ALL,
Thank you for the answers!
Grauw: in openMSX we call them "Konami" and "KonamiSCC" mapper The latter being short for "Konami with SCC".
That makes "Konami mapper" ambiguous, when I said earlier "it needs a 64K Konami mapper" I meant both types .
Anyway you all get what I mean and that’s what’s important .
What will the final price be of this device?
when we will have a fully functional v9938/58 core?
What will the final price be of this device?
Rough estimation around 110 Euros starting from 50 assembled units (box is added).
The prices for the automated assembly+test are exorbitant. Assembly will cost more than 40 Euros per unit for such a small series. Currently the module is under development. The status is updated.
