You got a GT? I am out of work at present, so winning the lottery is the only option to be honest if i go back to MSX I would want a complete MSX2+ at least, and a SCC megaflash rom, etc etc

I still stick ny my claim, I know there are TurboR ST owners in the UK.

Who is going to the fair ?

@djh 1697. Shame that you had to let your collection go. Just out of interest how did you manage to stay in touch with the world of msx after msx computing magazine etc finished mid 1987? Msx2 and above passed me by until recent years.

The club magazines carried on till the early 90's, i subscribed to various magazines
MSX Link (not very interesting - but the largest base at the time!)
MSX Central (only every had a couple of copies, they worked closely with Anglosoft)
MSX Tech (an excellent magazine by Jeff Whiting)

There was of course the Konami Software Club, I was friends with the editor and publisher, Mark Smith & Dennis Hemmings. I purchased a VG8235 from them - my first MSX2

I did obtain permission from Dennis Hemmings to publish the KSC newsletters online.

Dennis is enjoying retirement in Devon, not heard from Mark Smith, who apparently went (or was declared) bankrupt!

Cool, I did actually get a couple of the msx link magazines(photo copied sheets with red front cover if I remember correctly) but I probably binned them about 20 years ago. Did you by any chance keep your copies? For the sake of nostalgia I wouldnt mind reading them again.

I have no MSX magazines, as far as i know? Maybe in my parents loft? Who knows? If I do find any I will get them scanned, check with the copyright owner, and get them published on the msxhans website.

I did get permission to scan and publish on a website copies of MSX computing, from the publisher, but alas, I have not located them to date. There where some strict conditions to there consent.

MSX Link had some really lovely colours such as purple, green, yellow etc

djh - it would already be cool if you could publish the document with the conditions and their response in the first place Smile

I no longer have the document, however, it clearly stated that no money can be made from the scans.

It also stated that the copyright, which belongs to "Haymarket publishing" and it needs to be clearly stated with the scans.

I was thinking that hans might host them, along with a disclaimed something like "Copyright Haymarket publishing, permission to reproduce granted to David Haslett, without any charge or royalities"
