This is an awesome project. Especially the online concept can be very powerful for a game like this. Can't wait until it is finished Smile

Back when I just started out in the openMSX team (2003) I wanted to create a proof of concept of some sort of Eggerland. This was the result.

I am making a bit of progress again, but I have quite a big performance issue. I will have to reconsider the way I render the stages. The game looks way too small on a desktop as well.

I'm not entirely sure that I can finish everything I would have liked in July.

I have been creating original levels as well. These are the first 12 levels, including the current stage selection screen.

I have made it so that the levels use the HTML canvas and not HTML elements, so performance is a lot better now. And because of the canvas, I can scale the stages a bit better. I have made it so that the covers of both Eggerland 1 and 2 are prominently visible Smile

Stage 18, in the first picture is a nod to Eggerland 1. The stage is on the back cover of the game and the rom's code is HM-018.
