I don't know it too... but I'll try... maybe if find how to jump to differents parts of the songs, I would be able to jump that delay... I'll try it...

Just skipped a command VDP.... take the original game and do a Break Point in 0BA77h with an emulator. You'll see it. I've just skipped that CALL. fixed...

before same problem in vampire killer they fix it hardly but they change the jump and go up

What program to use to modify .MUS files?
MuSiCa seems to refuse it, and MSX Music Player by Nerlaska crashes with it.

Hmm… I think .MUS is a compiled version of the original MML.

You can use this compiler for windows (from the cmd).

Just write: mgscwin [title].MUS

It will create the .MGS file. then you can test it easily with Winamp

Gives errors and/or doesn't load on MSX, crashes in Windows cmd (namely the NTVDM.exe part).

If one of you is able to open/edit the music file, try removing all "R" commands at the start of each string. That would probably solve the 'problem'.
