Holy Bible for MSX

Is there a Holy Bible software for MSX, I mean putting the whole Holy Bible text into a disk then navigating between chapters or searching for a word?? I googled Holy Bible MSX and couldn't find anything ..

The Holy Bible is 4.2 MB in size if it's text only (Including spaces and punctuation)
in compressed version (WinRAR) is 1.1 MB ..

We have "the red book" that sounds a bit what you are looking for. It is not 100% truth, but gives you a nice inside view of MSX1.

Is there a txt file of the bible, then with enough memory you could read it on MSX.

Yeah, I have separate .txt file for each book in the Holy Bible, but I was asking if there's someone made it before.

I think we'll need several disks for this purpose.

It may be that this represents too much truth for our computers at once. It exceeds the active storage capacity considerably. A subdivision into single chapters would probably be the only possibility and determines a very interesting project. As Luther did years before.

The only similar Self-Help book that I know for MSX is The Holy Quran released by Al Alamiah... I'm well aware though that it has some compatibility problems... and not all of those are technical in nature.

The Quran is 1/10 the of the size of the Holy Bible, and I saw that software NYYRIKKI, since Arabic is my second language (The first language is Aramaic) and studied in Arab schools, so I'm fluent in it. They describe in the same cartridge (the last choice from the menu) they describe how they designed it, they used 1 MB ROM and this not for the text only, but for graphics and other stuff in the software, they said they used "Expanders"..
Quran consists of chapters while Holy Bible consists of Books, and these Books into chapters.

As Hamlet said,sub division is the choice that one got to do to solve the issue..even some chapters must be subdivided because they're too big.

So, there is no previous software done by someone.

I believe this has not been done on MSX.

If the Winrar version is 1.1MB, I could imagine the bible could be divided to "old testament disk" and "new testament disk". Since the amount of data that can be displayed at a time is rather small and reading it takes also some time, I see no problem storing the text in compressed format. With some clever coding the uncompression can be pretty much hidden from the end users eyes.

I think it would have needed a system with a hard drive to be feasible in the 1980s. And preferably either a multitasking operating system to be able to switch between the Bible program and a word processor, or a rudimentary Notepad level integrated word processing utility to facilitate actual work that might have been done with the software, writing sermons and that sort of thing. In practice, IBM PC, or maybe Amiga or Atari ST. Searching facilities and indexing would be a requirement as well, or otherwise it would be more practical to use paper books. Other considerations would be, if you want to make such a software in the 1980s, how do you even get the raw text to digital format to start with? And how about copyright - does someone have a copyright on that particular translation? Some versions may have been readily available on PD disks or something. And then there's the question of languages. I think languages with more versatile morphology than English would be quite different from a compression point of view, at least with LZ style algorithms and if compression only looks as the whole text as one big string of characters.
