From what I gather they are rather different products; the zemmix, being fpga based, should be as close as one can get in simulating the msx chips in hardware without having the original chips present.
The msxvr has it all emulated in software and seems (to me, at least) much more advanced than your run-off-the-mill emulation box by providing a unique combination of hardware and software interfaces to play with (see their videos on software development and running \< insert arbitrary cartridge name here \> ). On top of that, it is packaged in a premium msx-home-computer style case with integrated keyboard and is more easily obtainable for those that don't have either of those systems yet.

Question which may be relevant to the previously asked one: what are the lag numbers?
Hello:
Does it also support the Jap keyboard?
Note: To the right of the "L" key is the ";" key, then to the right the ":" key and above is the "@" key.
It means that this keyboard was Japanese.
Is there a Jap keyboard for MSXVR ?
Thank you!

Yes, of course. Take a look at the different keyboard layouts supported:

By the way, tomorrow is the deadline to order slot covers, games and joysticks. Read it on Twitter: https://twitter.com/msxvr_computer
The extras must be ordered here: https://msxvr.com/en/
If i said i wanted the slot covers when i filled out the extras i wanted initially do i need to go to this website and purchase or was i already billed for that?

The extras were not billed when you filled out the form on the MSXVR blog. I also pointed out that I would like to get the Sony HB-20P style cursors and slot covers when I first ordered the computer through the blog. You have to order the extras on msxvr.com. You will receive automatically an email with the order details and few hours later another email with all the products purchased.
thanks Ivan
